Here’s the video our Senegal mission team sent to Mountain View this Sunday morning!

We enjoyed our time in Diagle so much! But now it’s time to head back into Thies to finish some things there before we start the long trek home. We can feel you all at home praying for us and it has made this trip go so smoothly! We’d love prayers for continued good health, and easy travel back over the next few days!

We had such a great relaxing day with the Garrett’s after church. We are so blessed to be able to spend time with them and call them our friends. Prayers for this amazing family as they continue their work here in Senegal!

Today the team met with all of the village elders and people of authority in a meeting to discuss the work that has been done in the clinic, and what is to come. The youth were represented as well as the women’s committee. Hearing the level of commitment from every person who spoke about maintaining this building and how thankful they are for Mountain View and having us as partners was overwhelming. Some people may wonder exactly what the people of Diagle think of us continuing to visit with our intentions of teaching them about the love of Jesus. Our translator told us today, “They no longer see you as Americans. To them, you are Senegalese, their family.” Please pray for the team for continued good health and please pray for our hearts as we prepare for our last day in the village (Monday) as we say goodbye to our friends.

What an incredible honor to be working with such an amazing team of local nurses, doctors and midwives in the clinic. They successfully saw over 300 patients today!!
